This may just be me, but when I saw the title "Cold War", I thought this was set in an alternate Cold War/World War III era, like the Red Alert series.  It doesn't help that the mechanical stuff I saw, from the mechanical replacements on Rainbow Dash's face, to the machine crackling with electricity in the background, seemed to come off more as 1980s-esque cyberpunk with a B-Movie super soldier twist.
